The Saint Joseph’s women’s lacrosse team currently holds an overall record at 7-5, 4-1 in A-10 play, a record good enough to hold the number two spot in the Atlantic 10 conference. The team was voted third in the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll.

SJU returned a strong core of veteran players this spring, including graduate student Bridget Cerciello, who led the Hawks in goals (20) and points (22) a season ago and senior Stephanie Kelly, the Hawks' leader in assists last season, totaling 19 points while ranking third on the team in goals. Kelly returns this season leading the team with 33 goals and 24 assists

Earlier this season during the Bonnies and Hawks matchup, what was a three-goal game at halftime saw the Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse team pour in 12 second-half goals, good enough for an 18-4 victory. Kelly finished the day with five goals and two assists for seven points; she has now totaled 87 assists as a Hawk, the most in SJU program history.
