Tyler Kelder was one of the best stories of 2019 for the program, starting all 45 games in left field while hitting .293 with 15 doubles, nine home runs and 33 RBIs as a sophomore. He ranked among the Atlantic 10 leaders in all offensive power categories and his doubles, home runs and 24 extra-base hits were all the most by a Bonnies player in nine years. He played every game in left last season, but will transition to right field in 2020 while hitting in the middle of the order. "We think he's versatile enough to move over to right and he should be our best hitter. He has a lot of pop and a ton of bat speed," Sudbrook said, noting that Kelder has caught the eye of major league scouts as well after an All-Star summer in the Perfect Game League.

Garrett Boldt joins the program, returning home after a standout career at Olean High where he was a Big 30 All-Star. He started his collegiate career at Campbell University, then returned to Western New York where he was outstanding at Niagara County CC, hitting .438 with 44 RBIs and a .517 OBP in his freshman year and .376 with 39 RBIs last spring. Now a junior, Sudbrook expects him to play center and hit leadoff as a left-handed bat.

Ben Berger, a redshirt freshman and another left-handed bat, will vie for time in left. "He's a plus runner, a very, very good defensive outfielder," Sudbrook said.

Junior Brendyn Stillman is another junior college transfer who will bring some power ability to the lineup. He hit .422 in 2018 at Herkimer CC with 54 RBIs and a .549 OBP including an .888 slugging percentage during his freshman year. A second team All-American selection, he also hit .358 with 38 RBIs and eight homers last spring. His bat will earn him a lineup spot either in left or at DH.

Pierce Hendershot is a freshman who was a two-time All-State pick at Tioga Central School and could see time as well. He projects as either a third baseman or a corner outfielder long term for the program.
